Natural Remedy for Body Odor

October 3rd 2010 12:22
Body odor is a very embarrassing condition most especially to working professionals who need to interact with a lot of people. Sometimes, some people are unaware that they have this condition and there is a need for other people to tell them about this. Some people though know that there is an unpleasant smell from their body but they don’t know how to remedy the problem. Here are some tips and natural remedies on how we could remedy our body odor problem.

Body odor is caused by several factors. It greatly results from improper personal hygiene and in some cases from the foods we eat. Proper personal hygiene is necessary so this can be avoided. It is mainly caused by the presence of bacteria on a person’s body which is caused by unhygienic practices. The bacteria grow rapidly in the body most especially on wet skin. It is therefore necessary to get a shower everyday to keep always smelling fresh.

In order to avoid this embarrassing health condition, one has to make sure that fresh and clean clothes are being worn everyday. Avoid using the same clothes as you used the previous day as bacteria accumulates on used clothes which can transfer to your body and multiply there. Daily showers are necessary. Some foods may cause body odor that we have to avoid and if possible, just consume a small portion of it. Strong smelling spices like onions, garlic, pepper and other similar foods may cause bad breathe and body odor. Spicy foods are also one of the culprits. Foods which are mostly fruits and vegetables will also help minimize or prevent this condition. You can also use a deodorant in order to help prevent too much perspiration most especially when you are in hot areas often. If the problem persists, consult your doctor immediately and the necessary medical advice will be given.
