How can we beat this condition? There are different ways on how to manage depression. One solution is by keeping ourselves busy. Focus your attention on the things that you want to do and enjoy the most and release all your worries and depression in it. Low hormone levels, specifically low serotonin levels in women also cause depression. A drop on a woman’s progesterone levels which helps serotonin levels from getting so low results to this condition. The solution is to consult your doctor for medicines that would help you maintain your progesterone on normal levels.
Too much stress at work and unpleasant events make us get depressed also. When we are so stressed-out, it is best to take a break and get at least 8 hours of sleep. A healthy and sound body is always a great weapon. Eat healthy and exercise. Eat lots of fruits and vegetables as these foods contain serotonin which would be mood uplifting. Always think positively and enjoy everything that you're doing. Try to avoid those things that would remind you of the negative events in your life as well as ruin your day. Depression can always be beaten if we do our part.
