Health Benefits of Eating Eggs for Breakfast

When we were still young, our parents would encourage us to eat eggs for breakfast. We always hear from them that eggs have many health benefits to the human body. The egg yolk has many health benefits for the younger ones while the egg white is very nutritious for older people.

Egg is rich with the nutrient choline. Choline is mostly found in the yolk and is very much essential in the proper functioning of the liver. It also helps the body in the metabolism of protein and fat. Choline also helps in the mental functions of the body most especially memory of the elderly.Choline also contributes much to the normal functioning of the muscles of the body.
So, make sure that you have eggs for breakfast. However, for older people, always make sure to eat more the egg white rather than the yolk as it is reported that egg yolk has high cholesterol level which is not good for your heart. High cholesterol level in the body may result to some life-threatening health disorders like atherosclerosis or even heart attack which is one of the highest causes of deaths in the world.
